Carol asks…
reasons not to terminate an ectopic pregnancy.?
is there any plausible reasons why a mother shouldn’t terminate an ectopic pregnancy aside from loving the child? i’ve heard that there is a chance that ectopic pregnancies can be a success and both mother and child comes out healthy and alive. so are there any other reason why a mother would rather choose not to terminate the pregnancy, when signs of complications are already arising?
there are 2 occasions wherein ectopic pregnancies have been successful and there is a chance that the child will live. there is of yet no research on implantation to the uterus, at least none that is safe. yes, there are 2 mothers out there according to research that has carried ectopic pregnancies to full term, with the child very much healthy and the mother very much alive. the question is: is there any plausible reason not to terminate. it is already very well known that it should be terminated but just in case are there any other REASON why she would NOT TERMINATE?

James answers:
If an ectopic pregnancy occurs, it must be terminated. The fetus will not live no matter what you do, but if left untreated, the fallopian tube will burst causing hemorrhaging and possibly death if no treatment is given.
